Head of Kaunas Clinics expresses his gratitude for the support provided and hopes for further close cooperation

During Rasa Šilkaitienė’s visit to the Children’s Clinic, Prof. Rimantas Kėvalas, Head of the Kaunas Clinic, and Algirdas Dagys, Head of the Children’s Emergency Department of the Kaunas Clinic, gave a tour around the clinic’s premises, introduced the staff, and discussed the possibilities of further cooperation on new projects. The representatives of the clinic also expressed their deep gratitude to Lithuanian Children’s Hope for the medical instruments purchased with the organization’s funds, which have been useful in the treatment of dozens of patients. They also thanked Rasa Šilkaitienė for the donations that allowed them to build a glass wall which was so needed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Having this wall in the clinic allows the hospital staff to isolate COVID-infected patients from other patients.
