The Children’s Hospital of Vilnius University Santaros Clinic opens a new, modern ward for premature births

A project to build a new neonatal ward for premature babies at the Children’s Hospital of Vilnius University – Santaros Clinic was started in 1994 and completed a year later. This made it possible to provide professional medical treatment from the first moments of a premature baby’s life. An ambulance with specialized incubators was also bought to allow  the medical staff to transport women in labor to the Santaros Clinic.
